One and a Half Hearts

Mom, when I have needed it

You’ve always lent an ear.

Given me a hand

Lent your shoulder

And given me a smile

Since I’m the apple of your eyes

And you are mine

We’ve put together our brains

More than once to come to great ends

What if we put our together hearts?

If one of us is broken we will share

One and a half

But if both of us are, then

We have a whole complete heart.

This is my lil sister’s artwork:) She’s a budding artist and loves to draw, paint and build. Her vision inspired me to write something along with it:)
