Right now,
I don’t need to count sheep
I don’t need sleep
I don’t need wifi
I don’t need your reply
Right now,
I don’t need fresh air
I don’t need any care
I don’t need chocolate or coffee
I don’t need supper or tea
Right now,
I don’t need a break (a KitKat might do)
I don’t need to know about your hullabaloo
I don’t need music or songs
I don’t need anything my stomach longs
Right now,
I don’t need physical exercise
I don’t need the sunrise
I don’t need advice
I don’t need anything to be precise
Except
A plot, a story
Or an idea to write poetry
And once I have done the deed
All the things I think I don’t need.

Your inspiration is waiting right at the end of next Alley. Just keep looking!!! You need to look hard though, lest you confuse it with a mere digression 🙂🙂

Good, you seem to be a contented soul 😝, though fresh air, physical exercise, sunrise and a advise are never off the list 😁… Great, keep writing

Symptoms of writers block, well captured in the poem… Use it to rejuvenate yourself with new thoughts and ideas… Writers block is fruitful at the end, in my opinion… 🙂
